1. Foreign and national currency importing:
A) Foreign citizens and residence of Uzbekistan can import on the territory of the Republic foreign currency in cash without any restrictions, but it must be declared in custom declaration, Form- T-6. B) National currency “sum” in cash, in the limited amount of 50 minimal salary rates, established in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Whereby: - up to 5 minimal wage rates allowed without declaration in Form T-6; - over 5 minimal wage rates must be filled out in declaration Form T-6
2. Exporting foreign and national currency from the Territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
A) Foreign citizens can export the cash currency up to the amount of imported and properly declared sum at the customs declaration Form. B) Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan can export: - Cash currency at the amount equal to 2000 (two thousands) US Dollars, and no special permission is required; - Cash currency at the amount of 5000 (five thousands) US Dollars upon authorization of Central Bank of Uzbekistan or other authorized banks in due Form № 09006; - The Cash currency over 5000 (five thousands) US Dollars is subject to permission of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan; The exporting of Uzbekistan’s national currency “sum” is allowed to physical individuals (residences and non- residences) at the amount of 50 minimal wage rates, established in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The exporting of the sum over the established amount is subject to permission of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
3. Some consumer items for personal use can be imported free of customs charges:
A) If such consumer goods are imported from the territory of neighboring states, theirs total cost can not exceed the amount of 50 (fifty) US Dollars; B) If such consumer goods are imported from the territory of not neighboring states, theirs total cost can not exceed the amount of 1000 (one thousand) US Dollars;
4. It is prohibited to export form the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
A) Grain: wheat, rye, barley, oat, maize, corn, buckwheat (besides fancy baked goods, pastry of home, domestic manufacture); flour, grits, cattle, bird, flesh and edible by-products, sugar, vegetable oils (limits of export by physical individuals are determined by state law of the Republic of Uzbekistan) B) Raw stocks: furry stocks, incl. astrakhan; scrap and waste colored metal; silk cocoon suitable for reeling , bast silk (zero-twist), silk wastes (including those not applicable for reeling, wastes of cocoon filament); antique items. |
