During millennium the territory of Uzbekistan was a center of spreading of different religions and believes. And that became a background for tolerance for such religions and confesses.
Besides Muslim mosques in Uzbekistan are acting Christian churches, Jewish synagogues, Roman Catholic Churches and temples of other world religions. During this tour you will get an opportunity to familiarize not only with Muslim religion, but also with belief and traditions of other different people inhabiting the territory of Uzbekistan. These people regenerated and saved their culture and distinctiveness. You will visit the acting Jewish synagogue, built in Bukhara 400 years ago. You will also visit the school, where children study the Jewish language and traditions in-depth. You will visit the Russian Orthodox Church of XIX century in a modern part of Samarkand.
And in Tashkent you will visit the Roman Catholic Church (beginning of XX century) and Evangelical Lutheran Church (XIX century). During this trip you will make sure that different people in Uzbek land live in peace and concord.
Tashkent – Urgench- Khiva-Bukhara-Samarkand-Tashkent
Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent
Morning arrival and meeting in the international airport of Tashkent. Short city tour along Tashkent: Khazrat-Imom Square, Kukeldash Madras and Chor-Su bazaar. Transfer to the airport in the afternoon and flight to Urgench. Arrival in Urgench and transfer to Khiva (30km).
Dinner.

Day 2: Khiva Breakfast in the hotel. Full walking excursions day in Ichan-Kala of Khiva. Before the lunch time the program includes visit the Kalta-Minor Madras and Minaret, Kunya-Ark Fortress, Mukhammed Rakhim Khan Madras and Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum. Go on sight seeing in the afternoon: Islam Khodja Madras and Minaret, Juma Mosque, Allakulikhan Madras, Kutlug Murad Inak Madras and Tosh Khovli Palace. Dinner. Overnight in the hotel 3*
Day 3: Khiva- Bukhara Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Bukhara (470 km, 7 hours driving) early in the morning. Almost 300 km of the way lies through the Kyzylkum desert (translated as “red sands”). Lunch- picnic in the desert. Arrival in Bukhara and free time. Dinner. Overnight in the hotel 3*
Day 4: Bukhara Breakfast in the hotel. The full day detailed excursion along Bukhara: Mausoleum of the Samanides, Choshma Ayub Mausoleum, Ark Fortress and Bolo-Khaus Mosque. Lunch. Go on walking city tour: covered bazaars, caravanserais, mosques and madras, built during the long centuries along the old trade street. You will also visit the synagogue, which where built 400 years ago, and general specialized school with fundamental studying of Jewish language and traditions. Dinner and folk show. Overnight in the hotel 3*
Day 5: Bukhara-Samarkand Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Samarkand (300 km) early in the morning. Visit the Rabat-Malik caravanserai and sardoba on the way. Arrival in Samarkand and accommodation in the hotel. After the lunch visit the Registan Square – heart of Samarkand, the most beautiful square in Central Asia. Dinner. Overnight in the hotel 3*
Day 6: Samarkand Breakfast in the hotel. The city tour along Samarkand includes: Ulugbek’s Observatory and Afrosiab Museum- museum of the foundation of the city; Bibi Khanim Mosque, Shakhi Zinda Necropolis and Khodja Daniyar Mausoleum. You will also visit the Orthodox Church of Georg the Winner (1868 ). Dinner. Overnight in the hotel 3* Day 7: Samarkand –Tashkent Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Tashkent (330 km) after the breakfast. Arrival in Tashkent and accommodation in the hotel. Visit the Roman Catholic Church (1912) and Evangelical Lutheran Church (1899) after the lunch. Dinner. Overnight in the hotel 4*
