The centuries-old history of Uzbekistan hides a lot of unexplored and mysterious. Being the “cradle of civilization” this region always attracted attention of travelers and tradesmen, diplomats and conquerors. Splendid cities of Uzbekistan located on the main trade routes of the Great Silk Road, and such situation caused the science development, culture, traditions and customs of people.
A rich history of the region remained in architectural buildings, various household implements, which were found on the many settlements during archeological excavations. Scientists could restore the picture of the past grain by grain, but many secrets stay hidden in the earth.
Nowadays, archeologists from Europe and Japan go on the step by step exploration of ancient cities of Uzbekistan. Each new find with elements of Greek, Indian and Persian cultures excites the interest of investigative scientists.
During this tour you will familiarize with a rich history of Buddhist complexes in Termez; touch the ancient history of Sogd in Afrosiab town in Samarkand; meet archeologists, working on excavations in Uzbekistan, and you will be admired with the beauty and harmony of the Eastern architecture.

Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent Arrival in Tashkent. Pick up from the international airport of Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Dinner. Overnight in the hotel 4*
Day 2: Tashkent- Termez Breakfast in the hotel. City tour along Tashkent till afternoon: Museum of the history of Central Asian folks; Khazrat Imom Complex (Barak- Khan Madrasa, Kaffal Shash Mausoleum and Juma Mosque). Transfer to the airport and flight to Termez afternoon. Arrival in Termez and transfer to hotel for check-in. Dinner. Overnight in hotel 4*
Day 3: Termez Breakfast in the hotel. Full day sight seeing in Termez: Museum of history and archeology (Surkhandarya region), Buddhist complexes Fayaz-tepa and Kara-tepa. Dinner. Overnight in hotel 4*
Day 4: Termez Breakfast in the hotel. Go on sight seeing in Termez: Djakurgan Minaret, Iskander’s bridge, ruins of Dalverzin- Tepa ancient town. Dinner. Overnight in hotel 4*
Day 5: Termez- Shakhrisabz- Samarkand
Breakfast in the hotel. After the breakfast transfer to Samarkand via Shakhrisabz (450 km).
In Shakhrisabz you will visit the Ak-Saray Palace and Kok-Gumbaz Mosque.
After the excursion transfer to Samarkand.
Dinner.

Day 6: Samarkand
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day city tour in Samarkand: Registan Square – Main Square of the city; Museum of history and archeology; majestic mosque of Bibi Khanum; oriental bazaar; Shokhi-Zinda complex of mausoleums.
Dinner.
Overnight in hotel 3*
Day 7: Samarkand Breakfast in the hotel. Go on sight seeing in Samarkand; Museum of city’s foundation – “Afrosiab”; remains of Ulugbek’s Observatory; Gur- Emir Mausoleum. Free time afternoon. Dinner. Overnight in hotel 3*
Day 8: Samarkand- Bukhara Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Bukhara (300 km) in the morning. Visit the Minaret Babkent and Rabat Malik caravanserai on the route. Arrival in Bukhara -significant city of the Great Silk Road. After lunch visit to Chor- Minor Madrasa, Bolo-Khaus Mosque and Kosh Madras. Dinner. Overnight in hotel 3*
Day 9: Bukhara Breakfast in the hotel. Before the lunch time the sight seeing program includes: Mausoleum of the Samanides, Chashma Ayub Mausoleum and Ark Fortress. After the lunch, in a walking part of the program, you will visit the covered bazaar, madras and mosques, which are built along the old trade road. Dinner. Overnight in hotel 3*
 Day 10: Bukhara Breakfast in the hotel. Sight seeing in Bukhara’s suburbs till afternoon: Summer residence of Bukhara Emirs – Sitorai-Mokhi–Khosa, Chor – Bakr Complex and Complex of Bagoutdin Nakshbandi. Free time afternoon. Dinner and folk show in Nodir-Divan-Begi Madras. Overnight in hotel 3*
Day 11: Bukhara-Khiva Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Khiva (470 km) early in the morning. Almost 300 km of the route lies through the Kyzylkum desert (translated as “Red sands”). Visit the ruins of Varakhsha palace on the route. Lunch- picnic in the desert. Dinner. Overnight in hotel 3*
Day 12: Khiva Breakfast in the hotel. You will spend a full day walking in Khiva, city-museum under the open sky. Here you will see splendid buildings of different ages: from XI to beginning of XX cc. Kalta Minor Minaret, Kunya-Ark Fortress, Tosh –Khovli Palace, Pakhlavan-Makhmud Mausoleum, Mukhammad Rakhim Khan Madras, Juma Mosque and etc. Dinner. Overnight in hotel 3* Day 13: Khiva-Ayaz Kala- Toprak Kala- Khiva After the breakfast transfer to ruins of Toprak-Kala Fortress, ancient capital of Khorezm (115 km) and further to ruins of Ayaz Kala Fortress (30 km). Both of these fortresses are on the territory of the autonomous republic of Karakalpakistan. Transfer to Khiva afternoon. Dinner. Overnight in hotel 3* Day 14: Khiva- Urgench-Tashkent Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to Urgench airport (30 km). Flight to Tashkent. Free time afternoon or visit the Theater of Opera and Ballet of Alisher Navoi. Dinner. Overnight in hotel 4*
